GEMS3K Development Status


FORESEEN

  • MILESTONE: Release of the Test Suite for GEMS3K code (TBD).

ON-GOING

  • Development of TSorpMod class library for surface complexation and ion exchange models.

  • Development of TKinMet class library for mineral dissolution/precipitation kinetics.

  • Development of the nodearray-gem example of coupled RMT code implementing the 'random-walk' algorithm for simulating advection/diffusion transport in porous media for 1-D case.

COMPLETED

  • Bugfix Release: Open-source standalone GEMS3K code rev.940 under LGPL v.3 license (download from this web site), compatible with GEM-Selektor v.3.2.2 (rev. 2530) and v.3.2.1 (rev.2482).

  • MILESTONE: Release of an open-source standalone GEMS3K code rev.790 under LGPL v.3 license (download from this web site).
  • Standalone GEMS3K program for coupled simulation codes (foreseen to be distributed open source). Already used in OGS-GEM, CSMP++GEM and MCOTAC-GEM reactive mass transport codes.
