Attention!  Starting from v.3.8.0, we distribute online installers for Windows and MacOS that are built in Qt Installer Framework. These installers automatically download and install GEM-Selektor and optionally GEMS3K and (coming soon) GEMSFITS codes.

Attention! To install GEMS on MacOS, click on the downloaded "gems_online_installer_macos.dmg" file. In a small window that appears, control-right-click on the app icon select "Open" (repeat "right-click" and "Open", if needed) to allow the system to open the application in a bypass to standard security settings (this should be done once), then follow the guidance in GEMS installer. When starting the installer in Windows, you may also need to bypass Windows Defender messages depending on your security settings. This is normal and reflects increasingly strict security policies of Microsoft and Apple that only trust programs from app stores certified by these companies. For GEMS development team, it is getting more and more difficult to comply with these requirements due to shortage of manpower. Hence, we count on your trust and patience.
